PT Homeless/ tenancy Support Worker
12 Month Contract
Reports to: Community Development Manager / Trustees.
Mon – Friday 10:00am – 2:00pm
20 hours per week £10826 pa Living wage paid. 28 Days holiday Leave.
Enhanced DBS required.
Based at our offices in Batchley but working in the community as required

Responsibilities include:
• Assessing clients' needs and producing support / Action plans
• Advising clients of their rights
• Tenancy Support
• Maintaining accurate records such as reports and meetings minutes
• Making referrals to specialist organisations and services
• Planning and delivering workshops
• Liaising with appropriate voluntary and statutory agencies
• Raising awareness of homelessness
• Completing Risk assessments
• Lone working
• Organisational Skills
• Numerical and IT skills
• Team working
• Administrative skills
• Willingness to work shifts and unsocial hours
• Resourcefulness
• The ability to support and explain clearly.
• The ability to adapt working style to the needs of the situation.

What is the Pantry?

A Pantry is "get more for less" it is to help and encourage families/singles that need a little bit of Support to manage through tough times.  We aim to help as many residents that need a little support.

What will you find at our Pantry?

You will find a range of fresh, frozen and general foods, this will change based on what we received in from our suppliers.

How much does it cost? 

It is either £7 or £10 the choice is yours and you will receive about 3 times the value
